See? Even Chase & Status are disappointed in me.
Ok, first off I’m sorry I’ve been such a lazy asshole and not posting. I’ve been in kind of a music slump and other things have been taking over life, like my rigorous TV schedule and tequila. Lately I’ve been super picky about the music I want to post on here, because the point of this blog is to post really quality music that doesn’t get old, and for some reason I haven’t been finding too many of those gems. But don’t worry- I’ve got a few select things for you that I promise will satisfy that longing in you for something new and awesome. Believe me. And download. They’re free, people, the world wants you to have them.
Emalkay – When I Look at You
This song is RIDICULOUS. Dub-step fans, gather round- this is a godly anthem that will be stuck in your head for days. I can’t stop listening.
White Lies – Death (Chase & Status Remix)
A friend introduced me to this one and I’m so thankful he did. This Chase & Status remix is, as the young folk would say, “on fire.” This London-based pair make some intense music, and this song is no exception. I feel like I’m in the Twilight movie when I listen to it (take that as you will, I don’t give a shit. I don’t get the Twilight concept anyway.)
Deadmau5 – I Remember feat Kaskade (Caspa Remix)
The obligatory dub-step remix of the classic trance tune that got everyone talking about Kaskade. But it’s Caspa, and it’s really really good. Definitely not one of those “remixes for the sake of being a remix” remixes.
Lazy Jay – Float my Boat (Pablo Decoder Remix)
Some amazing minimal tech house that will win you over within seconds. It. Is. Great.
