“Rumored to be a new cut from Daft Punk’s forthcoming album Tron 2score, “The Crash” spins for around 10 minutes. The song builds slowly and steadily for a couple minutes before fluttering electronic sounds kick in over a futuristic military drum groove. The track marches on with both purpose and wonderment, until the gentle pulse of the outro fades us out, just as the beginning brought us in. If this is indeed a Daft Punk track, we can only hope that its release will be marked by one of their signature innovative videos.”
