Rome is an original HBO series, full with stories of violence, sex, political fights and lifestyle of the poor n’ noble of the great Roman Empire. With great action scenes and convincing political plots is not historically accurate but offers plenty of education and insight.
Main characters of the series are Lucius Vorenus and Titus Pullo, two soldiers in SPQR forces, those two are trying to make a living by different means. I have learned many things from this movie, totally worth’s your the time investment. It’s incredible how advanced was the roman civilization, hundreds of years ahead of it’s time in every aspect of life.
I’m a Gladiator fan and naturally I love this one too.
